    You know you see those stories on the backs of restaurant menus that detail their history? Well, here's our. Enjoy.

    After starting five other breweries in New Mexico and Colorado beginning in 1993, Sandy and I felt that a very small brewery in beautiful and very small Ridgway Colorado was the perfect combination of lifestyle choice. We wanted a small pub where friends could gather, where quality beer could be made locally, and where simple but creative pizzas would be served at reasonable prices. Colorado Boy has also been an evolution. It is now a brewery school, mentoring future brewery owners that has so far resulted in almost thirty new breweries scattered around the US. As for tomorrow, who knows. We can only do so much in 1,200 square feet.

    And, the more we grew at the Boy, the more we knew that we wanted 2 boys. So, we took a look at Montrose, Ridgway's friendly neighbor to the North, to see what opportunities existed there. The rest is history (in the making).

    All our dough is made from scratch using 100% Italian Caputo Flour, water, yeast and sea salt. We age our dough over night to allow the natural sugars to develop in the fermentation process. You can taste the difference!
